Monday, July 24, 2006. The Students for Equality Blog has been strangely silent of late. (Nothing has been posted for over three weeks now! And for that silence, I must apologize. I was out of town for much of the week of July 4, and once I returned, things began to heat up at Fair Wisconsin. Where I’ve been spending almost all of my free time this summer. Between that and my regular job, I’ve not had the time to provide an update, so let me try to fill you in on what has been happening. There are some e...

I’ve been consoled, apologized to, and thanked even though we didn’t win , yet I must confess:. I find myself wondering why. We did everything we were asked to do and more. Although the statewide results are, indeed, disappointing and saddening, I find myself without regret. We look now to the future. The sheer scope of education we brought to the state of Wisconsin about the L...

Should I vote at my school or in my hometown? I'm not registered to vote, how do I register? I'm currently attending school in Minnesota, can I still vote in Wisconsin? Lucky for us, former Madison mayor Paul Soglin posted an incredibly instructive entry. Posted by Matt Berg at 9:00 AM. Wednesday, September 20, 2006. There are a coup...

Sunday, April 30, 2006. Reflectig on the Past, Looking to the Future. As the semester is coming to an end, I've been taking the time to look back and see all that we have accomplished this past semester. I had been worried at the beginning that Students for Equality. The recent Day of Silence. Gave me the chance to realize other benefits of what we experiencing here on campus. Working closely with the UW-Allies. When trying to get the rally going has given me friends and contacts that I know I'll be able...

Fair Wisconsin's No On The Amendment Blog: My Final Thoughts
http://noontheamendment.blogspot.com/2006/11/my-final-thoughts.html
Now that Nov. 7 has passed, so too has Fair Wisconsin, at least as the official political campaign. This Wednesday is the last day of paid work for most of the Fair Wisconsin staff. A couple of people will stay on until the end of the year to tie up loose ends and to work with our board of directors to figure out what’s next for, well for all of you. All of us. A group like northeastern Wisconsin's Positive Voice. Or an LGBT community center like those in Madison. Or the Chippewa Valley. I was as sad, an...
