Christian Communications: "Issumagijoujungnainermik"
http://chistiancommunications.blogspot.com/2012/03/issumagijoujungnainermik.html
Sunday, March 18, 2012. Issumagijoujungnainermik" is another word for “forgiveness.” It is in fact an Eskimo word. Yes, Moravian Missionaries to the unreached peoples on the edge of the icy northern polar region searched for a word for forgiveness in the local Eskimo language. That's when they discovered issumagijoujungnainermik, a genuine 24-letter tongue-twister which literally means 'not being able to think about it any more.'. That is what ‘Genuine forgiveness’ is all about! Subscribe to: Post Commen...

Christian Communications: The Bible and Dragnet
http://chistiancommunications.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-bible-and-dragnet.html
Saturday, September 8, 2012. The Bible and Dragnet. At Church this morning, our pastor spoke on the first Letter to the Corinthian Church in our Bibles, and he made the point that the city of Corinth then, as bad as it was, was in reality no worse than any big city in the world today, including our own city of Melbourne. After the service I told him that I had also preached from this book/letter about 12 months ago and made the same point about Corinth then, being no worse than Melbourne now. This way of...

Thursday, December 20, 2012. New Kid on the block. This is something I wrote 6months ago but still stands today as we look towards the New Year). I greet you all in the Name of our Lord and King, Jesus. As you know, this is a task that is beyond any one group or organisation. That is why SGA supports and works through local pastors, churches and church organisations, already on the ground and operating in these countries and areas. In One Thessalonians 5: 17, we are enjoined to pray without ceasing, so.

Multiple Musings: October 2011
http://mymultiplemusings.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A collection of thoughts and often random ramblings that seem to fall from my head and onto the page during that wonderful adventure we call day to day life. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Ferly is not necessarily feral but fairly close. The first time I ever heard ferly used was in a song by an American singer, and I assumed (incorrectly) that it was the American version or our term “Feral” (for wild and uncouth people. {Oft times now called Bogans too! Thus, ferly, pronounced “FER-lee”, means,. Was sadde...

Saturday, July 30, 2011. Are You Puissant For God? The Word of the Day for Friday, September 11, 2009, was “puissant” which is a fancy and difficult to pronounce { PWISS-uhnt; PYOO-uh-suhnt; pyoo-ISS-uhnt ,} word for “Powerful; strong; mighty; as, a puissant prince or empire.”. Now true as it may be that you and I are most unlikely to ever use, let alone pronounce puissant properly, the word did inspire in me the opening question of our title. Yes, are we mighty or powerful for God? Word of the Day.

Sunday, May 29, 2011. Not how many Bibles, but …. My son was around the other night and wanted some specific biblical information about a certain subject. Information that I didn’t have off the top of my head, but believed I had written down earlier and placed in one of my bibles. So I started looking for it and upon having no success, said, it wasn’t in that Bible. Well by the time I had said that for the third time, he piped in, with, “How many Bibles do you have? Will you do that now? Again, although ...

Christian Communications: What have you begun before that needs finishing now?
http://chistiancommunications.blogspot.com/2012/07/what-have-you-begun-before-that-needs.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. What have you begun before that needs finishing now? Was recently reading Second Corinthians 8 when I came across these familiar verses in verses 10 to 12:. And in this matter I am giving my advice: it is appropriate for you who began. Last year not only to do something but even to desire to do something—. Now finish doing it. So that your eagerness may be matched by completing it according to your means. Again enough of them, what about you and me? Are we too “gunners”? View my co...

A collection of thoughts and often random ramblings that seem to fall from my head and onto the page during that wonderful adventure we call day to day life. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Wasps and good timing- Just not for me! Later on in the day I went back and Dusted the nest as heavily as I could before they were again agitated by my presence and the white dust, and it was again time for me to leave again very quickly! Turns out he is so allergic to them that if he gets bit it is a trip to the Hospital!
