I’m Sorry…. Apr 11th, 2013 by Pj in Information. I realize I’m a little slow on the uptake. I actually believe what everyone says to me. It is later, as I begin to dissect the conversation that I realize something does not ring true. Or sometimes you have to hit me over the head. Take for instance, apologies. It took me years to realize that the rare apologies I occasionally received were not apologies at all. And it wasn’t that I figured that out all by myself. This was answered again with laughter.

Find JOY in the JOURNEY! Tuesday, October 25, 2011. The phone rang this morning and it was the cemetery letting me know Paige's headstone had come in and it was placed. I quickly gathered some flowers from home to put in the vase. Amberly is home sick with a little sore throat so she was able to come too. It was a wonderful feeling as I drove up to see her brand new shiny headstone in place! It brought me great joy! I just can't wait to see her again! I glanced around me. Find JOY in the JOURNEY! Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Amberly lost her second tooth in the front and now all she wants for Christmas is her "two front teeth". She looks darling with her teeth missing and talks just as cute. Yesterday when she walked in from school she looked like Nanny McPhee but way cuter! I started laughing so hard! I was born with a rare life threatening disease, and have 14 other medical conditions, and developmental delays. I wrote this poem. Each of us are Special. No one is the same.

Our family experienced a miracle when Paige entered the world! Today we get to celebrate her short life here on earth with us. She has been gone a little over 5 months. We miss her everyday and every minute but her spirit is still alive! She was a fighter and a ray of sunshine to everyone. We love you and miss you!
