Middle Age and Motherhood in the New Millennium. Musings and tidbits from a child psychiatrist and mother of three. Link to Parenting Blog. Wednesday, October 1, 2014. We ticked off the to do list on campus and made the short journey back to the dorm parking lot around four in the afternoon. We snapped a few pictures, laughed and chatted on the walk. Everyone happy and excited. I took deep breaths, tried to think about taking off my shoes, how good that would feel. Then she said goodbye.

It's homecoming season and, as such, many of us have high schoolers frantically searching for THE DRESS. Call me old-fashioned but does it seem to anyone else that dance dresses are getting shorter and tighter while shoe heels are getting taller, every year? Dress must be loose enough to allow the intake of air.
