Last week, we took a family vacation down to Amelia Island and stayed in The Plantation at Turtle Dunes. HIGHLY recommend it and we will definitely be back! Trent, Austin, and I arrived after lunch on Thursday. Austin could not take his eyes off the beach! Here were some of our first impressions as we arrived. So peaceful out here!

Thursday, June 21, 2012. In an effort to provide the absolute best summer EVER for Austin, I like to have at least one fun thing planned for us to do everday! Yesterday, we went to play date at one of my best friends, Curry's, house to play with Brooker. Brooker is almost 1 but keeps up with toddler Austin very well! They went from playroom, to living room, backyard, then back to playroom - destroying everything in their path! Such fun friends they have become! Running to the park! Just Like my Daddy :).

They love to be together, and as soon as they wake up ask for each other or look for Lincoln for a kiss. The big boys are constantly telling Lincoln how much they love him, and they both want to be the best babysitters! Monday, April 27, 2015. Random Fun on Maternity leave! The last two weeks of maternity leave included so much fun! From blanket tents to trips to the zoo! We made sure to live it up while Mommy was still at home full time! Lots of snuggling happended! I don't know why he likes to be held! Mom, can you please go do something so I can babysit? The weeks weren't all play and no work. Lincoln loved helping teach my UGA graduate class! And Philip did too! Thanks so much to Crystal for keeping the big boys!

Friday, July 17, 2015. Owen Tonsillectomy and Adenoid Removal. Poor Owie bug had to get his tonsils and adenoids out this week! His tonsils were very enlarged and his adenoids were medium to large, thus causing some slight issues with hearing, a constant runny nose, sleep apnea, snoring, etc. The surgery and post-op healing has not been fun, but we know in the long-run Owen will feel so much better! Sunday, November 30, 2014. Last week we went to Walt Disney World. We drove down on Sunday morning and made it to Downtown Disney by lunchtime. We had a blast eating at the Rainforest Cafe', visiting the shops, and enjoying icecream at Ghiradelli! We had a laid back night and just snuggled and watched tv in the hotel room so we could rest up for Magic Kingdom the next day!
