Après un séjour décevant à La Havane, nous prenons le bus pour rejoindre Baracoa, dans la région la plus à l’est de l’île, l’Oriente. Le guide du Routard nous a vendu du rêve, alors même pas peur des 18h de trajet transformés en 20h avec le groupe de français-allemands prêts à faire la fête dans le bus! Pour voyager confort, il est le bienvenu de prévoir le budget pour louer une voiture.

We do not recommend our guesthouse, Sedona Riverside, simply because part of the roof of our room collapsed during the night, releasing a cloud of dust on all our stuffs. Fortunately, we were not injured! As the Inn was full, we could not have a new room and we had to stay in our bed To top it off, there was no water in the morning…. In the bus to Bangkok, we are questioning ourselves: where will we spend the few days that remains before our flight from Bangkok to Yangon? Our choice will be Chiang Mai! After a night bus to Pakse-Bangkok and a superb VIP bus Bangkok-Chiang Mai, we are dropped by our tuk-tuk driver in front of Mr. Whisky guest house! Short summary in pictures!
