Friday and Saturday in my mind may as well be melded into one day, because I certainly jampacked some of the most hectic items I could into both and somehow miraculously got some rest in between! Friday morning, we had an early start and headed straight over to the Galt House to register and receive our gear bags, swim cap and timing chip, among other things.

Race Weekend began on Thursday, with two flights from SFO to Dallas; and from Dallas to Louisville with my small cohort of 8: Coach Simon, Sandy, Paula, Jessica, Josh, Heather, Jane, and Kristin.
