Where in the World are Robert and Cherryl? Welcome to our travels around Australia and The World. Monday, 21 April 2014. Our base at the moment is Townsville. The largest city in North Queensland. We're camped on our daughter's nature strip. It's always great to catch up with the kids and grandkids. We walked on the mudflats at Bushland Beach - a great place for the dogs to get a run and splash in the sea - and had a picnic lunch before wandering around the local markets. Although the buildings are now m...

Where in the World are Robert and Cherryl? Welcome to our travels around Australia and The World. Monday, 10 August 2015. We've made it back to Townsville. It never rains but it pours! Where in the World are Robert and Cherryl? Welcome to our travels around Australia and The World. Wednesday, 26 November 2014. Our couple of weeks in the Perth area has gone by so quickly. We had a great time catching up with relatives - weddings are good for that! Around looking at the well maintained and renovated buildings. It's also a city of sculptures and mur...

Where in the World are Robert and Cherryl? Welcome to our travels around Australia and The World. Tuesday, 28 October 2014. Art on the Salt Lake. About 60km from our last camp at Niagara Dam is the small town of Menzies. We're about 130km north of Kalgoorlie-Boulder where we're off to tomorrow for a week. By 1910 the population had dropped to 1,000 when the gold ran out. These days there's only a few hundred (if that). There's still one pub with good food - we had lunch there yesterday. Our main purpose ...
