One week after Chloe’s Birth | Abe, Jenny, Isaac, and Chloe
https://abeandjenny.wordpress.com/2012/08/14/one-week-after-chloes-birth
Abe, Jenny, Isaac, and Chloe. One week after Chloe’s Birth. August 14, 2012 in Life. Tomorrow, Tues Aug 14th is one week since Chloe’s birth in Evanston, IL USA. This birth (unsure of gender) was a scheduled repeated cesarean operation and most operations are pretty straight forward, having one done before. Back to the main point…. What happened during our delivery of Chloe? Chloe Sue Young Lo. Me: “Not really… my blood pressure has been tested every hour.”. She said in all here 12 years of practice, I w...

As Seen by Ben: December Uncovered
http://benleaman.blogspot.com/2009/12/december-uncovered.html
As Seen by Ben. Wednesday, 9 December 2009. It's been 3 moths since I last poured out my heart and updated my host of followers (hey Phil and Liz) on what has been taking place in Bensville. I'm sad to say that my professional wrestling career has not taken off. My application to. I bought a sat nav about 2 months ago, only to discover on it's maiden voyage that the cigarette lighter socket in my car does not work. For all intensive purposes it is there only for decoration. I discovered this mode...Due t...

As Seen by Ben: July 2010
http://benleaman.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
As Seen by Ben. Sunday, 11 July 2010. Old macdonald had a farm. For whatever reason, my 23 month old daughter has never fully grasped her own name. Sure, she responds to it, but if shown a family photo, she enthusiastically says "mummy.daddy." and then stops short. We point to her image in the photo and say, "who's that Megan, is that you? Which earns a nod but nothing else. You see, she has finally been convinced that her name is YOU. Mummydaddy.you, she says beaming and proud. Back in the day. Simple t...

As Seen by Ben: candles, cakes and party poppers?
http://benleaman.blogspot.com/2009/06/its-my-birthday-today-and-in-my-family.html
As Seen by Ben. Thursday, 18 June 2009. Candles, cakes and party poppers? It's my birthday today and in my family it's a small tradition that we phone each other and sing Happy Birthday to one another down the phone, regardless of where any of us are at the time. In the past I've sung it on the hands free in the car, from the office, on the London Eye and even once in Tesco's. My main birthday present from my parents is quite an interesting one, unless you're a vegetarian. I'm going with my dad to a ...

One Word At A Time Please...: Bah Humbug...
http://brownphil.blogspot.com/2010/12/bah-humbug.html
One Word At A Time Please. I am only an Estimator. Monday, 20 December 2010. Our church small group recently came together for a lovely Christmas party. when we heard Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas Time/ Feed the World. We proceeded to rip this song to piece's (despite it's charitable qualities), a few lines were the main sources of annoyance. C) "Where the only water flowing is a bitter sting of tears. Where nothing ever grows, no rain or rivers flow" Whoa! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

One Word At A Time Please...: September 2010
http://brownphil.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
One Word At A Time Please. I am only an Estimator. Friday, 24 September 2010. A (none to intelligent) friend once told me that a man who worked in a skyscraper wanted to commit suicide. This man decided to jump out of his office window near the top of the ‘scraper. The story goes that on his decent there was such a huge gust of wind that he was blown back in to the building through his colleagues’ open window. That’s funny. Not the “suicide” bit, but the ridiculous bit. Thursday, 23 September 2010. She a...

One Word At A Time Please...: Snow Snow Snow...
http://brownphil.blogspot.com/2010/12/snow-snow-snow.html
One Word At A Time Please. I am only an Estimator. Monday, 20 December 2010. Is perhaps the only person I know who's spoken sense about the recent snow falling in London. What’s so bad about ‘The Big Freeze’? December 20, 2010 by Tom Avery. Sure, businesses are affected, travels nigh on impossible, it’s cold and wet, the economy suffers and for some inexcusable reason do owners don’t pick up their canine’s doodoo. But look outside! I just do not understand people who don’t like snow! Things that have hap...

One Word At A Time Please...: July 2009
http://brownphil.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
One Word At A Time Please. I am only an Estimator. Tuesday, 7 July 2009. People laughed at me, mocked me even for my optimistic timescale for the day (i.e. getting the van loaded and unloaded at our new place by 1.30pm)… but I passed with flying colours. Not only was every single item out of the van and 5 car loads by 12.30pm, but we were completely unpacked by 6 in the evening and could then settle down for pizza and friends. Part of our new life together is the presence of close friends, something we c...
