Friday, May 04, 2007. Somehow I managed to get my HK2 homework handed in and signed off! Totally amazing as only a few weeks ago I though I wasn't going to make it. HK3 is in a week, eek! I have lots to learn before my practical assessment, some 48 meridian points and multiple procedures. It's all good and I'm really looking forward to the next stage. Sunday, July 15, 2007. Well it has been a while since I last posted. I have now completed my HK3 lessons and am getting in to the practical. I have even completed my theory hours, but mainly due to learning a new way of working and being unable to resist the temptation of typing up some new lists. I have also started a correspondence course in Anatomy and Physiology, which was my most dreaded course but isn't so bad now. I don't know how well I'll remember all the terms but it's pretty interesting.

We've been a bit slack at keeping this blog updated. in fact, the last time we blogged Rach wasn't even pregnant, I hadn't been to Ausie and we didn't have our latest addition to the family! I'm sure you REALLY want to hear about the trip to ausie, but I'll first discuss the latest addition to the family! What's more, Rach gave birth naturally and WITHOUT pain relief. What a trooper! At midday we received the discharge papers and we left for Helensville Birthing Unit.

It's a tiny island (although technically an archipelago) in the Middle East - and I mean TINY! The land area is 665 sq km (Lake Taupo is 616 sqkm). The population is about 700,000 of which about 200,000 are expatriates. The annual GDP is about $14billion, which is from oil. Monday, November 20, 2006. So we finally made it back to Cairo and had a few more sights before having to part ways with the gang. A lady showing us how papyrus is made. This is kinda funny. Hani had told us that we were going to a really good perfumerie but most of the people I spoke to thought, 'yeah, it'll be cool to have a look-see, but I won't actually buy anything.'
