Huts and Bell Tents. Petruth Paddocks is a place where anyone can rock up and feel immediately at home. From the couple in their expensive new motor home to a bunch of young lads in a 29.99 tent from Aldi, from Mum, Dad and a couple of kids to a big group of family and friends and everyone in between. A live-and-let-live place where there are refreshingly few rules, kids can be kids, campfires are encouraged, music and bad singing are not a problem and people feel free to wander round making new friends.

Outdoor clothing / equipment. 4 x 4 Driving. Local eating and drinking. Yes - in fact we can’t understand how you can camp without one! Around 5.30 onwards you’ll hear the put-put of a quadbike dragging a trailer full of wood (and often children! 500 for additional sacks of logs. 200 for additional kindling.

Famed for the most popular cheese known to man and a new meet this year for SCC, we are heading to the fantastic Cheddar Gorge this September for some spectacular limestone trad climbing. This is also our first multi-club meet, joining forces with ICAS climbing club. From London; so come along to make some new friends from the Big Smoke! We will be camping a mere 15 minute walk away from the gorge at a lovely site called Petruth Paddocks.
