new job, new routine | Pinay in SG
https://pinayinsg.wordpress.com/2011/04/20/new-job-new-routine
I don't know where home is, but I'm getting there. Mr and Mrs M. New job, new routine. My son wakes up at 6.30am and is asleep by 9pm. With a 9-6 office job, that gives me an average of 3 and a half hours a day (Monday to Friday) of quality time with him. And I wonder if that’s enough. Now I understand why devoted moms choose to spend every hour of their weekends with their children. I’m not complaining. I’m just saying. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). I don't know where home is, but I'm getting there. Mr and Mrs M. Thoughts while cooking fried chicken. So I start on a new job on Monday. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I wonder if the added financial gains will be worth the extra responsibilities and hours at the office. Well, at least I have the weekends off. At least I get to have a fresh start. My previous job became my comfort zone and I just had to get out of it. La dolce far niente. Nope, I don’t use salt.). I let it sit ...At least 30...

the last summer of my life | Pinay in SG
https://pinayinsg.wordpress.com/2011/06/05/the-last-summer-of-my-life
I don't know where home is, but I'm getting there. Mr and Mrs M. The last summer of my life. In the summer of 2004, just like any other summers of the past, we went to Baguio. Little did I know that it would be the last summer of my life. Well maybe now that the little one is here, my summers will come back again. But I need to go home first. Because where I am now, summers don’t exist. And I’m not just referring to the weather. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to print (Opens in new window).

pinayinrosecoloredglasses | ..an eternal pollyanna's sanctuary
An eternal pollyanna's sanctuary. It is Okay to be a Rebel. Has been given a bad rap for a long time. But I believe it’s not about the word that gives it a negative vibe. It’s how people perceive and define it that makes it good or bad. It’s okay to be a rebel if you want . . . To fight for your ideals and what you think is right. To keep the fire of passion burning in your heart. To go against the tide because the force makes you even stronger. Like a time for a cool change, a breath of fresh air. And f...
My Constipated Life
Wednesday, February 17, 2010. I've moved to wordpress! Http:/ pinayinsg.wordpress.com. Friday, January 8, 2010. During Santiago's cremation, my mom whispered to him: "Santiago, please help your Tito Jun and Tita Chie have a baby.". A month after, I learned I'm pregnant. We love you, Santiago. Thank you. Monday, December 7, 2009. Waiting to be bored. Just like what I've gone through with other social networking sites, I am waiting to get bored with Facebook. I haven't read a decent book in awhile. I don't know where home is, but I'm getting there. Mr and Mrs M. Pinay in SG — Signing Off. Leaving Singapore is like breaking up with a boyfriend who’s been good to you for many years. There’s a part of you that says you should stay with him because he’s a safe choice , but there’s another part of you that’s just unhappy with him. I don't know where home is, but I'm on my way. Can I afford to bring up a child in a country where cost of living is very expensive? Where would I be happy? My husband and I m...

Tinas Graphics and Prints. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. I was having my usual busy day when the doorbell rang! When I checked, it's the UPS guy delivering another box of flowers from Pro-Flowers (the online store where Ryan ordered my roses for Valentine's Day). I just love getting flowers! Pinay Ironmom | Motherhood is an endurance sport
Motherhood is an endurance sport. Interior Design and me. Another Year, Another Journey. December 30, 2014. A year after my tragic bike crash in Bagac while doing the recon ride of Challenge Subic’s bike course, I made a short post for Multisport.ph. Though I get shivers when flashbacks of the incident cross my mind, my emotional state of joy for having survived is still enormous. Here is a repost from an article I wrote for Multisport – Another Year, Another Journey. Cobra Ironman 70.3. Yes you got it r...
