Which has been running since April 2011, officially finished at the end of June. A magazine has been published with information on the key activities carried out during the 4 years of the project. Skip to Main Content. To our knowledge the Ennerdale valley doesn't have any resident Pine marten. We have erected a number of breeding boxes which we monitor for signs of their presence. More about Pine martens. Scottish Wild Trust with places to see Pine marten. There have been only a few sightings of Pine marten in Ennerdale over the last 20 years, many have been around the centre of the valley. Otherwise Pine marten can be seen in South Scotland.
