Dumb Nostalgia: May 2010
http://dumbnostalgia.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 16, 2010. The Island of Forgotten Games: Alundra. This column was originally published October 3, 2008 on Destructoid.com. The dungeons in this game are not only fantastic, but also extremely difficult. Much like the best puzzles in the Zelda series, each dungeon has a number of brain-teasers that'll make you scratch your head and really push yourself to think outside the box to move on. This is still sometimes considered one of the hardest games on the original Playstation. As per the norm o...

Dumb Nostalgia: The Island of Forgotten Games: Omega Boost
http://dumbnostalgia.blogspot.com/2010/07/island-of-forgotten-games-omega-boost.html
Monday, July 5, 2010. The Island of Forgotten Games: Omega Boost. This column was originally published December 18, 2008 on Destructoid.com. Omega Boost is one of the best action/shooter games on the Playstation, and nobody knows about it. Developed by Polyphony Digital (the Grand Turismo team), it's one of the only games to completely capture the Macross mech feel and style for a console game. But the game itself? Why Didn't it Catch on? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Gay Gamer: It's just a little Crush (Roller)
http://www.thegaygamer.com/2013/12/its-just-a-little-crush-roller-neo-geo-pocket-color.html
Friday, December 06, 2013. It's just a little Crush (Roller). If you were to corner the 20 people in the Western world who've played ADK's Crush Roller. And ask them to describe it, at least 19 would include " Pac-Man. Clone" in their response. There's a good reason for that, of course- Crush Roller. Is awfully similar to Namco's classic quarter-muncher in terms of gameplay. (Both titles have players race through single-screen, maze-like stages while avoiding ghost-like baddies.). Was selling it for a me...

Destiny Fan Weighs In. September 23, 2014. EDITOR’S NOTE: This article wasn’t written by Tasty Whale proper, but by a friend who has an extreme history with the Bungie series Halo. So, maybe biased but his own opinion 🙂 I’ve heard some of his explanations for the lack of writing I have written about. And they leave me with hope for the Destiny universe! Also, I might add pictures to this later. Traditional usage defines fate. Http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destiny. I like to write with my voice and though...

TastyWhale – Graphic Novel version of “All You Need Is Kill” is terrible
http://www.tastywhale.com/2014/06/03/graphic-novel-version-of-all-you-need-is-kill-is-terrible
Graphic Novel version of “All You Need Is Kill” is terrible. June 3, 2014. I highly recommend the book. I haven’t read the manga nor seen the Hollywood adaptation. I don’t like tearing into and insulting someone’s art or product. But, the graphic novel. By Nick Mamatas that came out bearing the name “All You Need Is Kill” is horrible. So bad I’m actually cutting my losses and trying to return it to Amazon. Based on that alone, something I’ve never done before. Do not get this. Horrible. To post a comment.
