Hyper Heart: February 2012

I Covet Thee, H and M. I sure am impressed with H&M's current collection. Dresses 1 and 2 are my absolute favourites and I don't mean to brag, but I am the proud owner of both! Likewise, the green cardigan is an alright colour, but again it is more the style that I like. I tried the pale blue version on in store and fell in love; it's a thin, knitted style so if the weather keeps up, temptation might get the better of me. I should have named this post I Covet Thee, Sun. Come and say hello on Twitter.

the invisible squirrel: May 2011

Tuesday, 31 May 2011. One Maxi Skirt, Five Outfits! I wore my new maxi skirt from Peacocks to work today and I paired it with a navy vest, blue slouchy tshirt and navy blazer. (I also wore some navy leggings underneath as it gets really chilly at work). It got me thinking how else I could wear it because at the end of the day it is just a long tube of slightly stretchy fabric. This was my work outfit minus the blue tshirt and I think it looks quite smart and just about suitable for an office. But I thoug...

the invisible squirrel: NOTD (or should I say week!)
http://theinvisiblesquirrel.blogspot.com/2011/11/notd-or-should-i-say-week.html
Tuesday, 29 November 2011. NOTD (or should I say week! As I've mentioned before I'm not really a lover of painted nails mainly because it usually lasts an hour on me before I find a way to chip it! But I took the plunge and went for Shellac at my local salon as they had an offer on it. It was all a bit of a disaster as it started coming off after a day (its supposed to last 2-3 weeks without chips) so I went back and she completely re-did them thankfully! Amazing blog, i followed you! Hauls of an Addict.

It was a real surprise actually as I didn't expect her to get me anything like that at all but its really lovely and very warm! What are your NYE plans? 20 January 2012 at 23:42. the invisible squirrel: Clarise Cosmetics re-launch!
http://theinvisiblesquirrel.blogspot.com/2011/11/clarise-cosmetics-re-launch.html
Thursday, 10 November 2011. If you have read my past two posts you will realise I have been busy making lots of lovely things. Trying out new recipes for luxury bath products. I always hated buying these things from shops and not really knowing what was in them so last year I started making my own, now I know exactly. What I am using on my precious skin! Look out for 2 extra products: Volcano (which has peppermint, pumice and volcanic ash) and Hippy Hands (hemp and nag champa with hemp seeds). I made the...

the invisible squirrel: April 2011
http://theinvisiblesquirrel.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 30 April 2011. Me and Andy went for a trip out to Otley today, which if you don't know it's the place to go for charity shops and tea rooms! Normally when we go to Otley is for a walk up the Chevin but that seemed far too healthy for us today and instead went bargain hunting. The street market was also on but we didn't really get chance to look at that. I was trying to be strict and only buy things that I really needed but here is what I came home with:. These khaki summer crops from Dorothy Pe...

the invisible squirrel: The start of xmas shopping...
http://theinvisiblesquirrel.blogspot.com/2011/11/start-of-xmas-shopping.html
Saturday, 12 November 2011. The start of xmas shopping. Anyway, here is the jumper I bought, it is the fluffiest thing ever. Can't wait for it to get properly cold so I can wear it now. haha! Anyway today I went for a wander round my local village and ended up buying about half my xmas presents in about an hour so it was much more productive, I even picked up a cute River Island shirt from one of the many charity shops which I will show you in an outfit. So the moral of the story is SHOP LOCAL!

the invisible squirrel: September 2011
http://theinvisiblesquirrel.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 September 2011. Thinking ahead of myself. Featuring tote hand bags. I mentioned in my previous post that I am in the process of buying a house and thought I would share our story. It is a semi-detached on a sunny South facing corner plot, has a drive and garage and a little garden. It is 3 good sized bedrooms, a 22 foot through lounge and generous kitchen plus side porch and workhouse. There is tonnes of space for us, in fact I believe it is bigger than my parents house! The living room carpet...
