Ballymena Votes Yes to become the first Northern Ireland BID. Businesses in Ballymena town centre have been voting since 16th February 2015 on whether or not to become a BID (Business Improvement District). Voting closed on 30th March and it was officially announced on 31st March that there had been a resounding YES vote with 84% of votes cast in favour of the BID.
