n.b.miller: Self Portrait in a Cold Studio
http://nancybeamiller.blogspot.com/2012/10/self-portrait-in-cold-studio.html
Site for my painting-a-day project plus other paintings, drawings and photographs. Monday, October 29, 2012. Self Portrait in a Cold Studio. I was just blogging on another blog. About an artist who painted herself beautifully in a freezing studio. This annual inconvenience makes me feel all hardy and suffering-nobly-for-my-art. This painting "Self Portrait in a Cold Studio" has been exhibited several times in various venues including the Philadelphia Sketch Club. And still lives online on the Robert Genn.

Site for my painting-a-day project plus other paintings, drawings and photographs. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Oliver on the Floor. Oil on canvas, 20 x 42 inches, 1992-3. Surrender is the theme this week at Illustration Friday! We were in the middle of a painting too. Resigned, I put that one away and started this one, which seemed to better suit both our moods. There's a beautiful little piece of woods near us, called Rolling Hill Park. Lots of meandering trails. This one leads past an old, roofless ruin. I was lucky enough to be there yesterday just when the light was filling the old stone structure so that it absolutely glowed! Fits in by chance with today's Illustration Friday. Light in the Forest (Ruin in Rolling Hill Park).

Or at least reviews thereof). So A webcomic blog. What’s. It’s not a bad question, so I’ll try and answer it. First off, I read a lot of webcomics. The actual number itself doesn’t really matter – the most important thing to understand is that I read many more webcomics than my. Do What does this mean? Back when I began, it meant that I found myself wanting to discuss plot developments, new strips, changes in style, and all manner of sundry things, and had no one I could discuss it with. For one thing, I...

The Adventures of Dr. McNinja | Damn Good Comics

Or at least reviews thereof). The Adventures of Dr. McNinja. February 22, 2006. Ninjas are, in fact, totally awesome. This is scientific fact. The figure you see to your left is Dr. McNinja. He is, as you may surmise, a doctor. He is also, as the observant among you might be able to discern, a ninja. It is not until you learn of his secret backstory that one might discover that he is also. In any case, it is my profound duty to bring The Adventures of Dr. McNinja. Namely, that ninjas. are totally. Words,...
