The Lindbergh Electric Aircraft (LEAF) Challenge is an engineering design challenge designed for middle and high school students. Powering Imagination, Pacific Northwest AIAA, and Starfish Education are excited to announce the date for our upcoming LEAF STEM Challenge teacher workshop. This year's workshop will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Raisbeck Aviation High School in Seattle. Your $50 registration fee includes: Washington state clock hour certificate, continental breakfast, curriculum, handouts, lunch, materials and supplies for one airplane.

Student Fly-Off ~ LEAF STEM Challenge

Each spring, our partners and sponsors invite student teams from around the region to see which team designed the airplane that will carry the most amount of cargo. The oral presentation is an opportunity for teams to talk directly to the judges and formally present their airplane design, explain their design decisions and convey the scientific principles that played a part in the designing, building and flying of their airplane.
