Little Weirdo Creations: February 2012
http://alittleweirdo.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
A blog for all my crafty interests: from beads to papercrafting and knitting to Witchcraft. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Go with the flow. I'm continuing with the Great Cowl KAL, and have successfully finished the first 3 cowls by the deadlines. Not only has this been an opportunity to practice knitting skills, but a chance to "go with the flow.". I can wrap it 3 times around my neck. Thinking I'll take it to knit night next month and get a few more opinions before I decide whether to wear it or frog.

So here is my (overdue) recap of the Rose City Yarn Crawl. Saturday was my main yarn crawling day. My significant other agreed to drive, and we started out around 10am. First stop was the Knitting Bee where I had fun looking through more of the One of a Kind Buttons. Decided to bring these ones home with me:.

Life on the Guitner Road: April 2012
http://guitner.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Life on the Guitner Road. Saturday, April 21, 2012. Butterfly's Twins - Banjo and Bongo. Monday, April 2. Bella opened lambing season a day before my vacation began and her sister, Butterfly, closed lambing season after I went back to work. Those silly sisters. Butterfly gave birth to beautiful twin boys, Banjo on the left, and Bongo (center). Banjo looks so much like his mama did as a baby. My little profile pic at the top right of the blog is a pic of Butterfly as a lamb. Links to this post.

Life on the Guitner Road. Sunday, April 7, 2013. I Found a Box Turtle. It's been a long time since I've seen a box turtle. Hayley and I went for a walk this evening and I spied him in a muddy roadside ditch. I put him safely in the pasture so he didn't get run over. I think he was just waking from his winter nap. Live long and prosper, little guy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Click for more Guitner Road Photos. See Us on the Web. I Found a Box Turtle. Chickens in the Road.

A Day on the Guitner Road - Friday, October 18. I had my camera in hand throughout the lovely day Friday:. Golden sunrise shining on the October woods. Sheep grazing/browsing in the morning sunlight. Coleus still blooming bright by the Adirondack chairs. Self sowing Lady in Red salvia. What can I say? She likes playing in the water.

http://guitner.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Life on the Guitner Road. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Hey, Blogosphere, I didn't forget you. Summer's dry, hot weather has passed. As we are nearing Autumn here on the Guitner Road, the rain has arrived. Remnants of Hurricane Lee brought nearly a foot of rain last week. The sheep got sheared Wednesday evening. There was a thunderstorm going on outside but all the sheep were dry in the barn. YAY! Dan (our shearer) will soon wrap up his fortieth shearing season. This month will mark a year she's been with ...

A blog for all my crafty interests: from beads to papercrafting and knitting to Witchcraft. Monday, March 16, 2015. Rose City Yarn Crawl 2015. I didn't mean to neglect the blog for this long, but what better time to dust it off than the annual Rose City Yarn Crawl? This year's crawl lasted from March 5 - 8th. (I had hoped to post my recap sooner, but have been busy working to pay for all my purchases ;). Already thinking about knitting more shawls ;). Then it was over to Yarntastic! Fiber Arts, which was...

http://alittleweirdo.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
A blog for all my crafty interests: from beads to papercrafting and knitting to Witchcraft. Sunday, January 29, 2012. I can't believe January is almost over! I'm starting to get used to writing 2012 now, and getting in the habit of keeping the blog updated! So, feeling good about keeping up with my once a week blog goal, and thought it would be good to take a moment to reflect on where I'm at with my other goals for the year. And contemplating joining a knit-a-long on ravelry for the February Lady Sweater.

Life on the Guitner Road: June 2011
http://guitner.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Life on the Guitner Road. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I'm Downsizing but the Sheep Are Moving On UP. Two groups of sheep left here in the past week. The first group, six yearling ewes and stunning Mick, a ram, moved east of Scranton, PA. The ewes are 6 of the 7 sheep in the banner photo. The dark ewe in the center back and the donkey are still here with me. Thank you, Susan for allowing me to share the photo you took of the young ewes at their new home yesterday. Links to this post.
