arty france! jilly ballantyne: Artist's SALE!
http://jillyballantyne.blogspot.com/2008/12/artists-sale.html
Tuesday, 30 December 2008. My friend Jeff Mahorney (click on his name in my artist list on the right) is having a clearance sale of all his unsold work, 50% off, to make way for the new paintings in 2009, such a great idea, I must do the same thing as I am moving house and could do with some down sizing! First of course I will have to go and put prices on my work! Http:/ picasaweb.google.com/JillyPics67/ArtyFranceJillyBallantyne? Above is the painting I bought from Jeff, simplicity itself. I love it!

arty france! jilly ballantyne: taking care of (art) business
http://jillyballantyne.blogspot.com/2008/09/taking-care-of-art-business.html
Tuesday, 16 September 2008. Taking care of (art) business. I just love how happy people are when they have purchased a painting! 160;an artist friend who is living down here for a year (though busy in the UK at the moment as the Tall Ships artist in residence in Falmouth, Cornwall) once said that in order to not feel sad when parting with a sold painting he liked to think of the collector 'just taking care of it' for him. Note to self: don't stop until you have a painting in every continent.

I followed links to the site at pochade.co.uk. Where he displays and sells his paintings. With other pochade artists like Carl Melegari. Catching up a b...

Kaz Mayeda · storyboards · comps. 8212; exploring drawing processes. Manga Studio EX 5 plein air. This is my first painting using the latest version of Manga Studio. Based on the exceptional but underrated painting capabilities of the previous versions plus the new fluid brushes, I expected MS5 to be the best painting app I've ever used. It is.
