Lower Colorado River Vol1. Why doesn’t the mileage in the Pocket Guide match the mileage from other sources? We used a Garmin GPS60CSx to measure our survey tracks. The mileage that you are seeing on other sources was derived from old trace data. When you trace a map it’s inherently less accurate than a GPS track. Some of the private crossings are marked as an emergency access point. If they are still private roads why bother with the distinction? Why didn’t you print this on waterproof paper?
