New Poems

http://www.poemsbyisayah.com/new-poems.html

This is a poem that was published on this site when it was in its first year and is a personal favourite of mine. Just thought it would be nice to see the new and the old side by side.). I've been in search for an answer to a question. I've heard many answers but none of which pleases me. Distorted renditions of twisted dreams. None of which answer my question. Simply put the question changes. But remains the same when answered. I've delved deep into forgotten history. Through evil to good. They lie I say.

Older Poems

http://www.poemsbyisayah.com/older-poems.html

Fleeting stars and galaxies above. Courting successes and misery. Running through traffic and waste. Help slow me down. These green leaves and blue skies. As those days are fleeting away. You begin to question the time. For what's gone is never lost. Next time listen to those sounds you deny yourself to. The rain makes such sweet noise when you are no longer tired. Out of this realm can the questions be raised. In this world they can be made. I'm going to climb the next mountain. Through evil to good.

Poems by Harry Fassett

Poems by Harry Fassett. Monday, June 20, 2005. I was probably The One Jesus. I was probably the one who shook you as violently as the storm was to wake you, and pleaded for you to calm it. I was probably the one who sank into the ocean when you called me to come to you. I was probably the one who scolded the women for washing your feet with precious oil, and wasting it. I was probably the one who had forsaken you for 30 pieces of silver. I was probably the one who denied you three times.

December 24, 2016. Attention to this movement within this nation,. The overbearing flow that grew from immigration,. To seek purpose and happiness, is all within our power,. But to convince others of yours lies fatal, in every hour. In these twisted turn of events we have dropped many a voice,. Onto sidewalks stained with red, it is more common to see it. Unholstered then it is contained. Moreso than the actions that a person can take,. We starve the dreams, the bread never bakes. I am restless,. Life is...

Poems by her. | A poem a day keeps the clouds away.

A poem a day keeps the clouds away. April 14, 2015. I came to present a paper at a conference. Feeling foreign in my business clothes. Formally dressed in this place where I was so casual. No bra bare nails no skirts long hair no heels my bare face. I had this event on my calendar for months. Is how I felt,. Seeing the remnants of the skin I had just shed,. But still uncomfortable in my new face. Everything so familiar, the quad, the clock tower, my professor, some of my classmates,. Talking to you under...

What in the world is it going to take. To rid this planet of jealousy and hate. Has satan's grip consumed so many people that. For some when Messiah comes it will be too late. Ideas and Thoughts Running Through my Head. And mostly about people I know. Try to Guess Who. Saturday, October 30, 2004. Lord of the Dark. There are many times we have met, the begining middle and end. And up until this point you could only refer to us as friends. The relationship nothing more than a cold dark frustration. Should the roles that we play really need reiteration. Is it time to change the course, move the darkness into light. For from the dark we both come and could make these choices right.
