Poems written by me over the years. April 24, 2012. Only the Strong Survives. Now the account unfolds in a callous way. This recollection, prayer, I ask you, let abandon this door. Should be ashamed of all that was in store. The closet filled with skeletons lets survey. Oh what the hell is this? A list of broods. I’m fatigued from the thought yet you lived them. Itinerant yet in taking well. Gaining weight from the fabrication. Thirst for an abode as hell for that’s where you belong. Love is the adversary.

I don’t remember where I read it – probably on one of the dozens of endometriosis websites I read on a weekly basis – but I read that you shouldn’t stop making plans just because you’re sick.
