What are poets for in these destitute times? Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth. Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found its words. I, the sculptor, am the landscape. In life, in order to understand the world, you must die at least once. We Are What We Make. The Plow and the Axe. September 7, 2014. A man went on a journey, and left his young son to take care of the house, as the son had been taught to do. He thought, “my father has kept these good tools to himself in order that the credit for the bounty of this good land my be attributed to him alone.”. Continue reading →.
