Poetry and prayer: September 2014
http://poetryandprayer.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A selection of poems which reflect on prayer and on faith. Wednesday, 3 September 2014. The Big Field, Kineton,. Looking only at the grey, rain-burdened sky,. She missed the taupe and ochre ripening corn. She saw the melting hedges blend into the night,. But did not rise to see the green-gold dawn. On she walked w. Ith aching heart,. Past shuttered homes,. And never knew the joy of being alone. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.
Poetry and prayer: DAWN ON EASTER MORNING
http://poetryandprayer.blogspot.com/2014/04/dawn-on-easter-morning.html
A selection of poems which reflect on prayer and on faith. Sunday, 20 April 2014. DAWN ON EASTER MORNING. The light broke, thin-rimmed, over the empty hill's horizon,. Flooding quickly through the moisture-laden trees. Alchemilla leaf after rain. Beren Hartless. The night rain dewdrop lingered. In the grey-green Alchemilla chalices. Even the skies had wept, dark in desolation,. As creation staggered, and the sun grew dim. Tree and garden waited,. Bursting buds still, as if with frost,. But with the light,.
Poetry and prayer: A sailor's prayer
http://poetryandprayer.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-sailors-prayer.html
A selection of poems which reflect on prayer and on faith. Saturday, 28 June 2014. Set the focus of my heart. Against the compass of your love,. Aligning thoughts and deeds. To your divine direction. Fill the tattered sails of my existence. With your Spirit breath,. Blowing where you will. Take me to transforming shores. And some day,. When the task is done,. Steer me within the haven of your heart. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.

Just another WordPress.com site. I’m on the way. January 4, 2012. Epiphany is the day of revelations when ah-ha moments light up your brain. Mine? That it’s time to stretch out and explore cyberspace. No big deal? Well, for some of us it is. Especially as I’m a child of pens in inkwells, black and white TV, Bill Haley and the Comets and then the early Beatles. I hardly even use my Facebook account. The impetus for this? I’m on the way. On I’m on the way. Blog at WordPress.com.

Arts, Lifestyle, Metaphysics, Occult, Photography, Poetry, Rants and Social Issues. Friday, April 7, 2017. Do the Gods need your worship to exist? This question really intrigued me. There were some accounts that the Gods need people's prayers and worship to exist. Though there are some people who would say that the Gods do not need their worship to exist. They say Gods do not die, they just cease to exist until such time that one seeking soul will discover them again. Source: LupaSola - DeviantArt. These...

Poetry and prayer
A selection of poems which reflect on prayer and on faith. Friday, 25 March 2016. Stormy sunset by Beren Hartless. There is a Scottish legend that the cross of Christ was made from wood from an aspen tree. No Crofter will have aspen wood handles on his plough or his farming implements, and no fisherman will have an aspen wood mast or fishing tools. Even today the pendulous leaves of the aspen shake for shame. In this poem, creation is given a voice. I am the Thorn. Torn from the bare earth,. I am the wood.

Hail Dr. Horrible! How To Write a Play. January 12, 2013. In just the past three days, I’ve been bombarded with bad news in the Industry of Theatre and Azure Lorica. Bad news…but good for us…well, somewhat. Just to kill the mocking bird, Theatre Producers have been talking about moving their business to London, and quite Broadway. That’s right! THE Commercial Theatre Capital of the USA! Look at me, I’m actually standing up for New York, yeesh! Drama or no drama… DBoy’s learning that the more ...I’m...

A space for my fiction, and perhaps a bit of non-fiction for your viewing pleasure. Please be kind. Monday, February 28, 2005. Life's A Bitch; I Hope You Die. You're a hangnail on a pinky. King zit on pizza face's nose. Where the sickest tourists go. You're the pus of gingivitis. And a patch of yellow snow. You're the itchy burning fungus. Between an athlete's sweaty toes. You're the reason life is hard. But I know this much is true. I survive when shit happens. And I'll get over you. On kleenexes I used.

They Kill Babies Don’t They? Query Letter “My Mother is Coming to Live with Me”. WHY NOT TO GET A FLAT TIRE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. March 29, 2015. On the way home my GPS screwed up as usual, my fault for not updating it when I was supposed to, and I found myself in unfamiliar territory. I was forced to continue with the damn screwed up directions and along the ride I noticed my gas tank was getting awfully low, which caused me more unhappiness then my watch not being sold. 8216;Out the door price...

As I am sometimes a poet,. I get a lot of requests for Oozyies. By that I mean sentimental poems,. Like how the birds do sweetly fly,. But they do not mention,. How the shit falls from the sky,. When the sweet little birdies fly. So I do not write Oozyies anymore,. I gave that up at puberty,. When I noticed how sweetly the little birdies fly,. After their shit falls in your eye. For some deep reason,. I do not myself know,. I have named my dog,. Jack Off Joe From Tokyo. Now I do not really know,. And tou...
