About | Poetry for the bewildered

https://poetryforthebewildered.wordpress.com/about

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. I don’t know if this classifies as poetry or not, but it’s nice to play with language, and to follow the thought to the feeling to the word (to paraphrase Robert Frost). I practise mindfulness sporadically, and sometimes like to sit somewhere and just note what I observe, either internally or externally, or both. There’s infinite variety and complexity within even the smallest and most mundane of times and spaces. I like that. July 26, 2015 at 4:40 pm.

Today | Poetry for the bewildered

https://poetryforthebewildered.wordpress.com/2015/06/18/today

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. These things happened today;. Under a blanket;. The cat was wild. Ready to pounce;. My mum baked scones. And made strawberry jam. At her age;. My husband went to work. Steel toe caps and a high-viz vest. The day was grey. And the wind was cold. I lay on the sofa. There was nothing better to do. June 18, 2015. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. February | 2015 | Poetry for the bewildered

https://poetryforthebewildered.wordpress.com/2015/02

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. Month: February, 2015. February 5, 2015. Childhood – Rainer Marie Rilke. It would be good to give much thought, before. You try to find words for something so lost,. For those long childhood afternoons you knew. That vanished so completely -and why? We’re still reminded-: sometimes by a rain,. But we can no longer say what it means;. Life was never again so filled with meeting,. With reunion and with passing on. We lived their world as something human,.

Possession | Poetry for the bewildered

https://poetryforthebewildered.wordpress.com/2015/06/16/possession

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. The fly falls back into the web. Silky, soft and giving. Only when the struggle starts. It becomes the end of living. The spider tends with spindly legs. He wraps, injects and ties. A silent white and snowy tomb. The fly unmoving, stares. Submissive in the joining. A passive and receptive state. The sticky strands of honeyed love. Bind me to the bed. Try and try with all my might. I cannot lift my head. June 16, 2015. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Depression | Poetry for the bewildered

https://poetryforthebewildered.wordpress.com/2015/06/16/depression

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. Lying here, surrounded by myself. Deaden the sounds from the world. The net tightens, wider and wider,. Freeing all thoughts of escape. Life goes on relentlessly. June 16, 2015. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). 50 Shades of me. WELCOME TO MY BLOG. It tells of beauties and of beasts I have met along the way. It tells of demons in my dreams and how I struggle everyday. It also tells of my saviours who have loved me through my fears. That were there when at my lowest to wipe away my tears. No-one should ever have to feel they are alone so if you need someone to talk to or just want to let off a bit of steam, please, e-mail me, anytime, at darkyblue@outlook.com. 720 thoughts on “ WELCOME TO MY BLOG. October 25, 2016. I’m no son of the day,. Nor moon for her nights in May;. I’m, still, only just a boy,. My days, only few, spent on the world. Someone kindly stall the executioner;. I’ve not yet tasted the lips of a woman;. I’ve not yet opened the thighs of my lover,. How do I stare the face of death and be calm? To the wine auctioner, i’m a stranger,. I still need a sip of that great liquor. I visit funerals and they only serve me water,. My tongue, naive, why is my heart failing now? 8211; EA Akonnor.

Monday, 2 May 2011. Aboriginal Australia by Jack Davis. Aboriginal Australia by Jack Davis. You once smiled a friendly smile,. Said we were kin to one another,. Thus with guile for a short while. Became to me a brother. Then you swamped my way of gladness,. Took my children from my side,. Snapped shut the law book, oh my sadness. At Yirrakalas’ plea denied. So, I remember Lake George hills,. The thin stick bones of people. Sudden death, and greed that kills,. That gave you church and steeple. Muscle of a...

Poetry for the bewildered. Emotions, thoughts, words. July 22, 2015. I would like to have some. Have you seen my new t-shirt? Time, so I could. Your mum’s on the phone. Fancy a cup of tea? What’s for dinner? July 22, 2015. Mindfulness at the Botanics – 2. On a bench, beneath a tree,. Warm wet gunk plops on my head. A fat woodpigeon sits on branches high above,. Leaves rustle behind me –. I turn around, expecting a squirrel. Out of the bushes comes a sleek black cat. The older one throws a blue plastic toy.

I got to say goodbye. I kissed your forehead. In my eyes I started to cry. Beside your hospital bed. Begged you to not leave. You died, I bleed. My heart aches too much.

Poetry For The Divided – The poetry of Richard Innes Mulvey

Poetry For The Divided. The poetry of Richard Innes Mulvey. What became of the rebel? January 12, 2017. January 1, 2017. Pretty much anything, can grip at your soul. Leave your thoughts with someone else, in this calm evening. I am an innocent man, even in my dreams. What became of the rebel? He was buried with the youth of yesteryear. My own solar system, from near or far. Gives me very little, apart for the promise of nothing. Did I change too much for my own good? I often never think like that. I make...
