Dana Jae (and Eliza too! A first-hand glimpse into the life and antics of Miss Dana Jae, and her little sister, Eliza Joy. Monday, February 16, 2009. Poor, poor Eliza. She's been spending alot of time on this here naughty chair lately. For a little one with not alot to say she sure knows how to press my Mommy's buttons. I'm going to have to teach her how to fly under the radar a little more, or she's going to have red paint permanently etched on the seat of all her pants. Dana Jae (and Eliza too! Sometim...

Dana Jae (and Eliza too! A first-hand glimpse into the life and antics of Miss Dana Jae, and her little sister, Eliza Joy. Saturday, November 08, 2008. Halloween, you may ask? Nope, just another day of dress-up over at AlberdaHouse. And yes, I am a touch cranky in the last picture. You would be too if you just watched your little sister waltz away with your brand new pair of clear plastic high heels. Dana Jae (and Eliza too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). big ask dot com: January 2009
http://bigaskdotcom.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Big ask dot com. Sunday, January 25, 2009. So, it's not all ugly. This winter stuff. I am sure my friend in LA doesn't have icicles. Like these hanging from her house. Okay, either do my friends here because they probably have insulation. Attempting to focus on the beauty.I am sure it's in LA, too. And their toes aren't frozen. And who can blame her when squatting requires snow up to her knees! Dogs have knees, right? I was told two days ago marked "Solace Day".half way through winter. And why don't I si...

Big ask dot com. Sunday, September 28, 2008. To write or not to write. I am sad this cloudy morning. You are working a twelve hour day. The worst thing in my life is feeling like a failure. We are here because I have a headache. I am skipping church. The beginning of the summer I was blessed with the ability to take a creative writing class with Heather Sellers. What a blast. I can breathe again. If I could walk, I would have a pep in my step. You are an inspiration. Encouragement written by Heather).

The Drurys in Hoosier Land: Nativity Set Sam Style
http://amandajdrury.blogspot.com/2012/12/nativity-set-sam-style.html
The Drurys in Hoosier Land. Saturday, December 01, 2012. Nativity Set Sam Style. Every Advent we forego the traditional birth narratives in favor of Revelations 12.*. Thanks, Sam. For more terrible nativity sets (aka AWESOME nativity sets),. Check out Marko's blog. Revelation 12: 1-5 "A great sign. A woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and cried out in pain. As she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven:. 8 Hours Un...

The Drurys in Hoosier Land: 8 Hours Until Riley--No Yak Yet
http://amandajdrury.blogspot.com/2011/05/8-hours-until-riley-no-yak-yet.html
The Drurys in Hoosier Land. Friday, May 06, 2011. 8 Hours Until Riley- No Yak Yet. One of the saving graces of the craziness these past few months have held has been the things coming out of Sam's mouth. Last week, when we thought it was still a horse. Sam went to bed very cheerfully and announced, "I am going to always say 'please' and 'thank you', and if I wake up tonight I will not get out of bed. I will just talk with Jesus.". He said with enthusiasm. "I'm going to get a yak.". I did call a few place...

The Drurys in Hoosier Land: Gratitude and Heavy Hearts
http://amandajdrury.blogspot.com/2012/07/gratitude-and-heavy-hearts.html
The Drurys in Hoosier Land. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Gratitude and Heavy Hearts. Thanks so much for your prayers for Sam's surgery. Despite a breathing hiccup on the front end, he seems to be quickly on the mend. Towards the end of our hospital stay a nurse asked Sam if he needed anything else. "Just a hug! Was his reply. Needless to say he quickly won over the staff. Above is a picture a few hours post-surgery when Gracie the therapy dog came for a visit. Get well soon, Sam! Rest and peace to you all.
