It was so nice getting outside after a month inside and I wasn’t any worse off for it on Sunday. I can’t wait until I am fully healed! Under the milky way tonight. I went on a small overnight trip into the Uintahs with my buddy, Greg, this last weekend. With the impending week in the horizon, he thought it would be a good idea to get me out of the city and into the mountains for a night under the stars. Falling stars, to be exact. Archive for May, 2009. It’s Been Such a Long Time. After a long hiatus from blogging, I am back in action. So to summarize my last nine months, I will provide a verbal montage: I learned to ski (thanks for the patience Jens and Heather! Went to Desert Rocks for my 3. Year, got a fish named Waylon, saw Flight of the Conchords, turned 26, ate sushi, had many dance parties, met many new friends and became reunited with many old friends, lived, laughed, loved and so much more. The event is put on to raise money for the Youth Garden Project (an amazing garden that high schoolers keep with an amazing amount of plants and also some chickens) and featured a bunch of sling shots and trebuchets and catapults. Last weekend Josh and I went down to Indian Creek to meet up with some friends from Salt Lake for a costumed climbing weekend. Although I am very outspoken on my costume hate, we were told that costumes were "required" (read: high school rule book). We had a pretty hard time finding costumes in Moab, but we were able to put together something for both of us, on a small budget. In with the new.
