Hi there!: Commercials
http://uwpjustinha.blogspot.com/2008/07/while-discussing-about-consumption-we.html
Friday, July 4, 2008. While discussing about “consumption,” we were somehow stuck within the topic of “needs versus wants.” The discussion mostly revolved around a person’s wants gradually becoming one’s needs. This supports Abraham Maslow’s pyramid. Do you feel that the Wii is made for all Americans? If you don’t buy it, you will not experience what the rest of America is like? Instead of making a commercial where it says directly (instead of indirectly) that the Wii game console is fun and has a wirele...

Hi there!: Reflection
http://uwpjustinha.blogspot.com/2008/07/reflection.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. First off, I like this class because I do not need to go buy a new ink cartridge. Analyzing the above statement gives the following:. I like this class. I do not need to buy a new ink cartridge. I save money; ink cartridges are expensive. I do not need to explain as much in words to show you the cost of the ink. I do not need to explain what kind of printer I have and you still have an image of it. I do not need to be very formal. Because these are blogs and not formal papers, but...

That can be carried from place to place, generally small enough to fit in one's pocket (though some early mobiles were much larger than that), and does not need to be connected to any fixed infrastructure, using radio. Here are some other branches of mobile phone evolution that can leave a big impression on how mobile phones will become in the future.

Hi there!: Stories in History
http://uwpjustinha.blogspot.com/2008/07/stories-in-history.html
Saturday, July 5, 2008. There are no unbiased histories recorded because it is not possible. There are always two sides to each story, and history is made up of many different stories. For example, most of china’s histories are recorded after they have been told from one person to another; there is no way that scholars will walk between kingdoms and battlefields to get both (or more) sides of a situation and survive to tell the tales. Or defending against terrorism. Your post gets at the vexed problems o...

UWP101 Saelee: Boy or Girl?
http://ksaeleess1uwp101.blogspot.com/2008/07/boy-or-girl.html
Thursday, July 24, 2008. Another type of grouping the dog into the binary gender system people has created is by the name. Well, the dog’s name is Brownie. This is a fairly gender neutral name, like Bailey, Kelly and Gene. Thus, what does one do when all the characteristics in which society as constructed as “female” or “male” seems neutral or is ambiguous? Would such world be more “equal”? Or are conflict, tension, difference and hierarchy inevitable elements among social creatures? Let's try this again.

UWP101 Saelee: judge judy, myspace and writing
http://ksaeleess1uwp101.blogspot.com/2008/07/judge-judy-myspace-and-writing.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Judge judy, myspace and writing. Aside from being tremendously ridiculous, this case was humorous as well, we can really try to sue anyone for anything these days! On a heavier note, the case really made me think of the boundaries of privacy. Can we really have privacy, especially in the vast network of internet? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). UWP Blog: Follow up to comments on mobility
http://colleenssummerclasswriting.blogspot.com/2008/07/follow-up-to-comments-on-mobility.html
Friday, July 11, 2008. Follow up to comments on mobility. As to the involvement of technology in this physical. Mobility, and its resulting lack of purity, if you will, I think of a similar example in my own family. One of my cousins is currently pregnant, and is insisting that she deliver her little son at home, without any drugs. The woman is insane. I asked her, "Would you wash your clothes in the river? I take your point entirely that "nothing compares to real human contact"—but I wonder what t...

Hi there!: Stalking?
http://uwpjustinha.blogspot.com/2008/07/stalking.html
Thursday, July 24, 2008. Was designed to look like a camera on the backside; it even has the "take picture button" on the upper right (when used sideway to imitate a camera). Anyways, this picture was not difficult to take. Unlike an actual camera, there was no need to obviously carry it or the need to take it out from a carefully stored protector case. The camera phones' lenses are less cared for than real cameras' lenses. Just the other day, my friend saw someone, who was standing in a line, put his ce...

Hi there!
http://uwpjustinha.blogspot.com/2008/07/while-reading-ricks-box-of-thoughts.html
Saturday, July 19, 2008. While reading Rick’s Box of Thoughts post on political correctness. Girl you would find walking around our high school hallways. Secondly, there was this one time at a bus stop where my friend was yelling at his brother and called him a midget…. Now, I would like to continue with the story, but I have encountered a problem. What is the politically correct term to refer to people with Achondroplasia. Now back to the story…. After calling his brother a “midget”, a pair ...Honestly,...
