Pincushions and Power Tools. My adventures in sewing and woodworking. June 11, 2016. January 2, 2017. I’m baaaaaaack and I hope my readers are too! Unlike some of my previous projects, I didn’t really have a vision going into this project. I simply knew I wanted a nicer nightstand than I currently had. Leftovers from another project. I realized I had a lot of scraps leftover from making my coffee table. The first of several iterations. It took a long time to choose this pattern. After assembling the legs...

Pincushions and Power Tools. My adventures in sewing and woodworking. June 16, 2016. January 2, 2017. So many options, I will have very colorful napkins. I looked through my drawer of fabric and pulled out some fabrics I thought would go together nicely. As you can see I have three different color schemes laid out. I planned on making more than two napkins, but the weather got warmer and I got distracted by power tools. Yes Harry, sitting in my lap does help me sew! Patchwork top sewed onto the backing.
