Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Havens class Halloween Party. As if today (Halloween) the kids will not get enough candy, Hs class decided today would be their party day. And not just any party day, but one that includes every type of treat imaginable and known to man. :). She got to wear her costume to school. That is always a fun thing! He went from half day school to full day school and Haven is now in the public school system full time! She started her Transitional Kindergarten class. Thursday, January 10, 2013. Tonight Neil took Haven on her first date. To say she was excited is an understatement. She has been talking about it to everyone ever since she found out! She drew a picture of her outfit. She knew exactly what she wanted to look like. Her outfit matched clothes that were already in her closet so I helped her get them and set them aside. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Last week of school – Water day! Yesterday the kids had water day. Havens class did some water stations. And then later in the day I got to go see J do his class water. Havens favorite was when they got to eat a popsicle. She wasnt much. Into getting sprayed in the face. :). Justus on the other hand really enjoyed all the water stations they had! Friday, May 10, 2013. I was able to go to the Hume Lake womens retreat again this year. I went with 5 of my life group ladies and we had a great time! My other two brave high ropes companions. Monday, July 30, 2012. The other day I took the kids bowling. I was tipped off that kids bowl for free* during the summer. *Does not include shoe rental. (Therefore is not free). Whatever, reduced cost. ;). J all on his own. So some of our life group moms brought our kids for a round. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Thanksgiving for us was a very relaxing. Im not sure that that can be said for most families around our country, but for us, it was! Neil and I woke up and started our day with the Turkey Trot 5K. This wasnt exactly relaxing but it was what we wanted to do. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Things we did while in AL. As I mentioned previously, I did have a list of things to do while visiting. My parents first house. The next day we got to just hang out and enjoy my parents. That night my dad made us a roaring fire on which to roast marshmallows. The kids loved this and remembered doing it last time we had visited. Great memories! Saturday, April 13, 2013. On the road again. Breakfast was in the Airpot - thank goodness for Sbux oatmeal. My kids are great travelers!
