We DELIVERED 350,000 PETITIONS. On Tuesday, August 9, we hosted a powerful press conference and petition delivery in Sacramento calling on Governor Jerry Brown to end the practice of using oil wastewater for irrigation. We had great speakers there, including Assemblyperson Mike Gatto, a mom, a scientist, and a nurse. We had a display of oranges which we doused with oil (chocolate syrup) to help the media get some imagery that will catch people’s attention. PeoPLe watchED and shared. Thanks for all you do!
