Philip Zimbardo: Was his experiment really unethical? | psucc8
https://psucc8.wordpress.com/2012/03/25/philip-zimbardo-was-his-experiment-really-unethical
Just another WordPress.com site. Philip Zimbardo: Was his experiment really unethical? Important for understanding the study. He then needed people to take part in the experiment. So he advertised for volunteers in the study. He found 75 volunteers for the study(21 were then chosen at random). An important thing is they volunteered and also were paid $15 a day to take part. Or did he truly not believe that it would happen, like most of us. To take part in the experiment. They are required to tell the...

Just another WordPress.com site. Stanley Milgram: Was his experiment really unethical? Firstly it is noted that the participants volunteered to take part in the subject and so were not forced into taking part. Even though there is no signed consent from the participants they obviously agreed to take part as they volunteered. In this age that wouldn’t be good enough, as you need signed consent for all experiments but Milgram’s was before this. 8220;Please continue.”. Homework for Julie 09/12/11. The Helsi...

Would we be lying if we were to remove any outliers? | psucab
https://psucab.wordpress.com/2012/02/05/would-we-be-lying-if-we-were-to-remove-any-outliers
Homework for my TA (Week 3, Semester 2) →. February 5, 2012 · 8:25 pm. Would we be lying if we were to remove any outliers? According to Grubbs the definition of an outlier is “An outlying observation, or outlier, is one that appears to deviate markedly from other members of the sample in which it occurs.” To put it simply, an outlier is a point in your data that sticks out like a sore thumb. So what is it that causes these outliers? One test for outliers is Grubbs’ (awesome name) test for outliers.

Just another WordPress.com site. The Stanford Prison Experiment. Just Another Stats Blog. Stats, stats and more. Are There Benefits To Gaining A Strong Statistical Background? September 30, 2011. Well… are there? Yes of course. Without a strong statistical background for our theories, would anything ever get accepted into the public/common domain? On the other hand, statistical backgrounds are not necessarily a good thing. Who wants to know the future? Ok, apart from the obvious, would you REALLY want to know the future? 8221;, where would we be today? I really enjoye...

Excel VBA Macros
Excel, VBA, Dashboard, Excel Dashboard. Monday, 12 August 2013. I would like to demonstrate how the well known Excel function VLOOKUP can fail. Let's assume that we are looking for the value 21.01 in column C and that we want to return the value in column D. I have created a dropdown list to be sure that the value I am picking up is exactly like the one that is in column C and I have entered my VLOOKUP function to get the letter in column D. VLOOKUP(C12,$C$3:$D$8,2,0). Surprisingly, VLOOKUP returns #N/A.
