Lake Union has now been fully mapped with high resolution side scan sonar. The MDS team has explored and documented more than 45 wrecks to date. With more than 30 wrecks remaining to explore this project will continue on for some time. Exploration is now jointly managed with GUE and MDS. With more than 1,000 targets of interest identified in Lake Washington this project has required years of effort.
