The Trust is well served by dedicated contractors who service the traps, rebaiting and recording catches. Scott Candy has looked after all the stoat trap lines since installation except for line 10, which is now serviced by a roster of volunteers. Ecological Centre is only 20 mins drive from the house where you might be lucky enough to hear the call of the Kiwi after a picnic and walk around the Island. The 27 metre high Rainbow Falls were first named “Waianiwaniwa” meaning waters of the Rainbow.
