Daily Dose of Hamilton: October 2009
http://dailyhamilton.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Daily Dose of Hamilton. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Now that Brandon is nearing the end of medical school and shall one day in the near future be job-seeking, I find myself giving more thought to what I would like to do. Where would I like to end up? What are my goals, my dreams for the future? It's pleasant to think such things, not that I am unhappy or unsatisfied now. It's just pleasant to dream up what else could be on my horizon? Sunday, October 18, 2009. We just back into town from a 2 night jaunt to...

Daily Dose of Hamilton: Diary of a Wimpy Mom
http://dailyhamilton.blogspot.com/2011/04/diary-of-wimpy-mom.html
Daily Dose of Hamilton. Friday, April 22, 2011. Diary of a Wimpy Mom. It does my heart good to see such passion for reading in him. And if reading children's literature is something I can do to encourage him even more, then bring it on! By the way, I've read some most wonderful children's novels in the past couple of years. The works on the market today are WAY better than what I remember reading as a kid. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jamie of 'Go Fish'. Diary of a Wimpy Mom.

Daily Dose of Hamilton: November 2009
http://dailyhamilton.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Daily Dose of Hamilton. Monday, November 30, 2009. I must admit I'm pretty bummed out today. I believe I am a very optimistic person, but one can take only so much at a time. I reject it from being in existence. No water leak. No slab leak. No, no, no! There, ok, now I've had my pity-party-temper-fit. I'm feeling slightly better. But only slightly, I'm afraid. I'm envisioning my floor being ripped up and the concrete being drilled into. Saturday, November 28, 2009. I’m a fan of Tylenol pm. I’m a fa...

Daily Dose of Hamilton: Why I Left Probation
http://dailyhamilton.blogspot.com/2011/07/why-i-left-probation.html
Daily Dose of Hamilton. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Why I Left Probation. It seems I've been answering this question repeatedly over the last several months. I figured I might as well write down my thoughts on the matter. I didn't leave probation because I was disgruntled, burnt out, angry, bitter or just plain cynical. I left because I would love to opportunity to motivate and teach young people. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jamie of 'Go Fish'. Why I Left Probation. View my complete profile.

Daily Dose of Hamilton: VBS
http://dailyhamilton.blogspot.com/2011/08/vbs.html
Daily Dose of Hamilton. Monday, August 15, 2011. This year I had the privilege of helping to organize and write the curriculum for the VBS at our church. We did a modification of a children's musical, adapted into a drama. Then I crafted Bible stories that were relevant to the drama and theme, leading up to and including the gospel story. God brought 4 new kiddos into the fold through professions of faith. Wooohooo! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jamie of 'Go Fish'. View my complete profile.

Unordinaryday: Benjamin Franklin's Plug for (Traditional) Marriage
http://unordinaryday.blogspot.com/2014/09/benjamin-franklins-plug-for-traditional.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Benjamin Franklin's Plug for (Traditional) Marriage. While I do not subscribe to the idea that all unmarried men are incomplete animals, Franklin's point is clear: Without a wife, man is missing out on a lot of wonderfulness! Kyle and I make a wonderful, super, awesome team. (Please excuse all the superlatives! Even on the days when I don't help as much as I would like, it's easy to see that life is better together! Unordinaryday: Med School Away Rotations-What to Bring
http://unordinaryday.blogspot.com/2014/09/med-school-away-rotations-what-to-bring.html
Saturday, September 20, 2014. Med School Away Rotations-What to Bring. We're finishing our last away rotation soon. We've been in three different towns for away rotations over the course of Kyle's medical school. For each rotation, we've been able to stay a month at a time in a "furnished apartment" that was provided by the medical school. It has been fun to experience what constitutes a "furnished" apartment! What we deem normal, everyday necessities are often not included! Laundry detergent, etc. I'm s...
