A handmade card journey. Crafty ‘Resume’. April 12, 2012. Whoa…. After more than a month of not making any cards and simply having ZERO inspiration… I made 15 cards over the course of 2 days! I’ve been spending time ‘finding me’ again, and it has been a pretty rewarding little break there. I am currently involved in a project where I will make 60 cards for young cancer survivors and their caregivers! Content may be offensive. I really do cuss like a sailor but I try to keep that to a minimum here; ov...

http://sabees-place.blogspot.com/2011/04/sketches-inspiration-what-can-i-say.html
A Little Bit of Bee. Saturday, 30 April 2011. Sketches. Inspiration. What can I say. If your Mojo is floundering there is nothing better than to kick start it by doing a sketch or two. For some reason I woke up at the crack of dawn today, so I decided to haul all my scrapbooking stuff out and be a little creative for a change. With a sketch and a chance to win some stash. Here is the sketch. Here is my take on it. I used my studio calico. These papers are amazing and so was that SC kit! Fellow Bloggers&#...

A Little Bit of Bee: Snapshot in time..
http://sabees-place.blogspot.com/2011/05/snapshot-in-time.html
A Little Bit of Bee. Wednesday, 18 May 2011. When I look at these photo's taken at my friends house 4 years ago, just a day or so before we left South Africa for the United Kingdom, I smile. This is a snapshot of a period in our lives, that I often reflect on, and think how we managed to sell up everything and move countries in less than 2 months from the time I got the job offer. 4 years on, here we are, the UK our home now, and photo's just memories of a time, a place in our lives.

http://sabees-place.blogspot.com/2011/08/from-heart-challenge.html
A Little Bit of Bee. Monday, 15 August 2011. From the Heart Challenge . The next challenge I participated in is From the Heart Challenge. Here we had to create a layout with I Love. or I heart in the title. I used my Studio Calico. Youve embellished this really well, theres a lot on there but its not distracting because of the way most of the embellies are on Kraft card. Love it! 15 August 2011 at 18:42. Very cute butterfly and hearts embellishment. Love this LO. 22 October 2011 at 12:59.

https://stephinka.wordpress.com/2012/09/01/papertrey-princess-challenge
A handmade card journey. Crafty ‘Resume’. September 1, 2012. This may have to be the perfect time for me to get my hands back into the cardmaking. If you remember my last post which was all the way back from April, I had been making cards for cancer survivors — well that was all done with the help of dearest Euna. Who helped me a fair bit with the number of cards sent to the Cancer Society. She’s currently on medical elective out somewhere on an island in the Pacific- Cook Islands! Go and smother her with.

A Little Bit of Bee: Card Club ... A Reason to Smile
http://sabees-place.blogspot.com/2012/08/card-club-reason-to-smile.html
A Little Bit of Bee. Sunday, 12 August 2012. Card Club . A Reason to Smile. There was a reason to smile yesterday, an afternoon filled with crafting , chatting, laughing and good company, what could be better? We used the reason to smile stamp set, in 3 hours we made a beautiful box to hold cards, we decorated this with a 'grungy flower' made with the Blossom Punch, and we also managed to make two lovely cards. Love Your Mother: December Card Kit
http://loveyourmotherearth.blogspot.com/2012/12/december-card-kit.html
Thursday, December 20, 2012. Like everyone else i'm sure, December has been busy! I haven't had time to blog or create much. This month it was my turn to send a card kit to everyone and I made sure to squeeze in some time to create a few cards. Here is the kit:. Here is my first card. It's based on a sketch in the latest Paper Craft magazine. I loved the slanted design! And I needed to use up the other half of that doily, so I made this card. Thanks for stopping by! Posted by Mara Campbell. Your kit is a...
