Go with the flow. Thursday, September 08, 2005. So i've gotten to the point where i'm pretty afraid to put myself in situations where i might start having these doubts and painful feelings. My life is very peaceful without someone in it, and i hate any kind of drama. But, of course, i still do want to have a nice, trusting, peaceful relationship - but that doesn't generally happen instantly! I do try to take a moment to wish that everyone felt that way as well. Go with the flow. Wednesday, September 07, 2005. I just practiced tonglen, a practice i learned during the book study i did at the meditation center. The book was "The Places That Scare You", by Buddhist nun, Pema Chodron. She says,. Go with the flow. Thursday, September 01, 2005. Weekend before last, i went to see Jamie and Daniel in Seattle, for Jamie's 50th birthday! Jamie has been in bad health again, so it was so good to see him doing so well. We partied down for about 5 days. I think he consumed half the scotch in Seattle! Anyway, it was the most fun i think i've had up there. Except maybe when we went to Whidbey Island - that was pretty awesome. I hope those boys get their asses down to Atlanta to see me soon!
