Summer at the Shore - Rachael Schafer Designs
http://rachaelschaferdesigns.com/portfolio/summer-at-the-shore
Summer at the Shore. This nostalgic pattern is part of a group and gives a nod to the bygone cotton candy colored days when people would flock to Coney Island for Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Rollercoaster rides, goofing off in front of a camera and general lazy summer days. Aaaah! These icons would be great in scrapbook pages, as repeating patterns, journal covers and more.

She was also easy to work with, and offered great new ideas when our original concept drastically changed due to a venue switch. I love that our invites were so personal and unique, and look forward to having another opportunity to commission her. I’m also a fan of watching her art evolve via social media. Jennifer Wambach Design and Illustration: December 2013
http://jennartdesigns.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 2, 2013. Make Art That Sells, doing what you love, and finding joy along the way. I recently completed Part A of Lilla Rogers' insanely rigorous yet wonderful online class, Make Art That Sells. Which concentrated on bolt fabric, home decor, children's books, wall art, and gifts. It's a jam-packed five weeks full of tips, tricks, advice, and info on five different art markets, lots of drawing, lots of self-doubt and ultimately lots of growth. Art created during MATS by Victoria Johnson.

Misty Mountains: MATS
http://dreamkeeperfae.blogspot.com/2013/12/mats.html
Donderdag 5 december 2013. It has been quiet for some time, because besides the fair and some assignments, I was doing the e-course of Lilla Rogers. MATS, make art that sells. The one who got me curious about this e-course was, Miriam Bos. She took part A earlier and saw what she was doing with it and loved it. I thought it could be the next step in the direction of taking my art more seriously. It was a flood of information, hard work, but so much fun to do. Week1: Fabric, berries and Pyrex casserole.

Jennifer Appel: It's a blog party
http://www.jaillustration.com/2013/12/its-blog-party.html
It's a blog party. As I have mentioned before, I took Lilla Roger's Making Art that Sells. Course in the month of October. One of the great benefits of the course, was the Facebook group where all my fellow classmates could come together. Now that the course is over, we decided to do a blog tour. So today, I have a few extra special guests stopping by! Give a big welcome to the Mats 2A participants. So what have I been up to the last 4 weeks since the class ended? I have dusted off my portfolio. Who I am...

Monday, September 26, 2011. Adele, "Someone Like You". I heard that you're settled down. That you found a girl,. And you're married now. I heard that your dreams came true. Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you. Oh friend, why are you so shy? Aint like you to hold back,. Or hide from the light. I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited. But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it. I had hoped you'd see my face. And that you'd be reminded that for me,. Nevermind how I'll find someone like you.

Rachael's Child Literature Blog
Rachael's Child Literature Blog. Friday, June 3, 2011. Coraline by Neil Gaiman (2002). I really enjoyed this book. I had seen this movie and thought it was okay, so I was looking forward to reading this book. I liked the book much better than the movie. I thought it was written very well and I really liked the illustrations at the beginning of every chapter. Having the image before the chapter made it fun to try to predict what would happen next. Thursday, June 2, 2011. What's Special About Me, Mama?
