On a Journey Together. Thursday, July 2, 2009. My first 5k.and THE horrible photo! Me and Jennifer -she is 5'9-after the race THE horrid picture. On June 12th I "ran" my first 5k race. I had been training for 2 months to get to 3.2 miles from running only 1.5 miles. The week before the race I ran 4 miles monday, 2.5 on Wed and played two soccer games Fri. On a Journey Together. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Girls Getaway- Hoffmaster beach! Last weekend Analeah and I got away with some of our best friends, Julie and Sam, to Muskegon for a girls weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to Hoffmaster State park, our family's favorite beach on lake Michigan. We enjoyed some sunshine and then a thunderstorm startinf rolling over the horizon, which created some awesome lighting for pics and lightening in the sky! This is her element! Baked Pasta and Broccoli with Ham and Cheesy-Creamy Cauliflower Sauce. 1 recipe guiltless alfredo sauce. 3 ounces Pecorino cheese, grated (about 1 cups- could sub fresh grated Parmesan). 1/2 pound medium multigrain pasta shells or bowties. 1/4 pound sliced smoked ham, chopped (about 1 cups). 1 medium bunch broccoli, trimmed and cut into florets (3-5 cups).
