Even though this is a darkroom photography class all these pictures are digital. :) Just because I've never actually done film before.you will also notice how all these pictures are either flowers or trees. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The pupil of the human eye is a aperture opening because it allows light into the eye and can change the amount of light entering the eye. The larger the aperture the smaller the f stop number, and the smaller the aperture the larger the f stop number. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. RECENT WORK OF MINE. I was told in class the other day that I need to post more of my work. Ok, fair enough. If I show you what I am doing, do you promise to show me more of what you are doing? This is an image from a wedding I shot this past Saturday. I have been playing around a lot lately with layering texture on my images. When I see interesting textures, I photograph them, and save them to use as texture layers. This texture was a rusty sheet of metal. RECENT WORK OF MINE.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Here are some samples of shots taken on Tuesday while discussing aperture settings and their effect on the depth of field. It is easy to see how much difference there is here. Please pay attention to how the shutter speed is effected by the different aperture settings.
