Sunday, June 21, 2015. My brother Josh and mom in the pink bathroom circa 1959. I am settling in and have decided to reveal the completed renovations room by room. I'll start with the pink hall bathroom. It was very pink. I am all about saving original things but I just could not deal with all that pink. I was never a big fan of it, the bathroom was gutted except for the tub, which was sprayed white, and toilet, which was recently replaced. Here is what it looked like when I got the house.still pink!

Sunday, July 12, 2015. Family room-the big reveal. Call it a Family room or Den, it is the center of all family activity in the house. Growing up this is where we gathered to watch TV at night. Its where my mom served cut up hot dogs (hor d'oeuvres) before dinner and the adults had a cocktail. For me it is where I began my career as an artist. Right there on the den floor! Thursday, July 30, 2015. The Simon Cousins circa 1968? We spend more time in our bedrooms then in any other room in the house. Unfortunately my dad did not take a lot of pictures of these rooms. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. In the Etsy Shoppe. I am so sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I have been super busy. First, there was the Buyers Market. It was so great to meet so many of you retailers and make new friends and contacts along the way. Then, it was Passover, and I was so busy cleaning and then cooking. The sedars were great! Now I am finally settling down and getting down to business, filling orders, and preparing for my next big wholesale show this August in New York City.

Saturday, April 5, 2014. Niche Award Winner 2014. I am proud to have won the Niche Award in the Judaica category for my fine silver "Freedom Mezuzah". I made the mezuzah for the 2013 Museum of Imajewnation's show which was held in St. Louis. Please see the previous post for more information. The Niche Awards were held in Philadelphia in January 2014, during the Buyer's Market of American Crafts. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the ceremony, but I was sent a beautiful glass trophy.

Friday, February 20, 2015. Books, boxes and booze. There are a lot of books. Books are really heavy. Monday, March 30, 2015. Permits and paint colors. Well this past week has not been the most exciting one. There is a lot of work getting done, I'm not complaining.
