One of those things, or four of those things to be specific, were our kids. We visited schools, discussed special needs issues, medical stuff, where they'd be able to, hopefully, make friends, and then went for it. There's. I'm an Olah Chadasha! New immigrant to Israel). Friday, July 29, 2011. Oh, my poor neglected blog…. When I last updated I think I was up to my first Friday and Shabbat. I think I took care of some errands Friday morning and then ended up at the Kotel for mincha. It was REALLY hot, as it was still early in the afternoon. Came back to the apartment and Gila had set up the most beautiful Shabbat table in honor of my first Shabbat here! As I lit my שבת. I am just so happy to be here. Not far from Katamon.

Hi I am Rachel's Mom and while she has headed south to Australia to escape the cold and snow - I am left here to tend the fires. So I am getting even by creating this web-site where all her friends and family will be able to follow her escapades. Here is a picture of me in my down overcoat with 35 mph winds gusting to 50 and a wind chill factor of 4 degrees fahrneheit.
