So my first chase race of the season was pretty slow but I took a lot of positives away. 1 I felt pretty comfortable all the way through and know that in a decent race (and better conditions) I can run much faster. 2 My hurdling has continued to improve and I feel efficient off both legs. Club Energy – Otley. My races over 800 and 3k an hour later were ok, a 2.09.1 (although Mike timed it as 2.08.5. so I’m taking that! And 949. Not were I want be but hopefully with another few weeks training I will be back to where I would like to be. Hearing the steeple results from Letterkenny on Friday (three Irish girls under 9.45! These are a few of my favourite things. Triathlon and a few bike races. Friday, 18 September 2015. Scottish National Road Race Champs. The only one wearing tights for a change! That was hard work. Hills, wind, hills, wind, hills, wind, finish! We travelled up to Ayr a few days early to ride around the course: 3 laps of a 17 mile undulating (read: hilly) loop with a good wind coming off the sea. Apricot and Almond Loaf. 1½ tsp sugar. 25g Meridian Safflower Oil. White Chocolate and Cranberry Flapjacks. 3 tablespoons golden syrup. 100g white chocolate chips. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
