Thursday, January 7, 2010. My first project of 2010. One of my new year's resolutions was to actually finish. The things that I start. I think I have started the year off right as I have started and finished. My first project. Dan's parents gave me this quilt pattern and material for Christmas and I couldn't wait to get started. It is called a cathedral window pattern. I love it so much that I have hung it on my wall in the kitchen. Bring on the next project! Holy cow. that is absolutely stunning!

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. We are a Happy Family. I wanted to remember this picture that Halle. Drew forever. She said we are walking together holding hands on the beach. I did a little embroidering and Walaa. Frame courtesy of the DI and a little black spray paint. I have been in a sewing mood as of late. Pillows have been my main obsession really. I was pleased with how these 3 turned out and happy for the tutorials on how to make them. For a pop of color on my couch, I made this happy pillow.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009. I LOVED our costume this year. Dan and I got to go to a very fun couples party. As you can see, he was the Publisher's Clearing House Prize Patrol guy and I was a very surprised winner of a million dollars. We pinned the balloons to his back so they hovered over his head wherever he went. The funny thing was that our party involved a scavenger. Hunt all over our town. Yes, I went into the mall, grocery store, and restaurants. Wearing my pink robe and curlers in my hair.

Wednesday, February 3, 2010. I have been in a sewing mood as of late. Pillows have been my main obsession really. I was pleased with how these 3 turned out and happy for the tutorials on how to make them. I got this gem of a sweater at the Dollar Store. Thanks to makeitandloveit. I turned it into a cute pillow. I got the flower tutorial here. For a pop of color on my couch, I made this happy pillow. My favorite pillow of all was this snow ruffle pillow tutorial courtesy of V and CO. And Milli is so cute!

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. We went on a cabin shopping trip with my parents to Island Park. What a beautiful place! We hope to be spending a lot more time there in the future. Who wouldn't love 4-wheeling with Uncle Todd? How cute is she? Can you see Millie? We drove the Motorhome to Island Park. The kids were all tuckered out on the way home. So We Will Never Own a Horse. At the end of the day, my Mom said, "Kyler, I hope you enjoyed your horse ride, because it is the last one you will ever take.".

Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Putting up the Christmas tree. We went on a Christmas trip to Utah to see the lights and my sister Suzy and brother Luke and their families. We had a great time. Given that I don't fail anything, I have a BA in like three weeks. When did that happen? And did I miss it? Who'd have thought, three years of uni would result in something. Monday, November 30, 2009. So Edinburgh is my new favourite city. I flew up there for the weekend, and met Luke who has been working in Glasgow for the last few weeks. Edinburgh castle we didnt actually go into. It's a stunning castle to look at, which you can see from almost anywhere in town, but the weather being lovely while we were there, we decided our time was better spent outdoors.
