Thursday, April 16, 2009. Matt's One Year Appointment. We saw Matt's pediatrician on Monday and everything went great, just as usual. Matt is 27 inches tall, weighs 18 pounds 9 oz, and his head is 44 cm (or 17.3 inches) around. He come in at about the 5th percentile. Still a little guy for his age, but he's growing. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Matt's 15 Months Old. He's is really getting serious about this growing thing! He had a growth spurt since 12 months! At the pediatrician appointment last Friday he weighed in at 20lbs 10oz and they recorded his height at 29 inches. He's in the 5th percentile for weight and height and the 10th for head circumference. (Wonder who he gets that from! LOL) He's now tall enough to reach the 3rd shelf (where we keep the fruit snacks) and he can pull himself up onto the couch.

Lentil and Macaroni Soup. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 2 medium carrots, cut into 1/4 inch pieces. 1 medium onion, chopped. 2 garlic cloves, crushed with garlic press. 1 can (14 ounces) whole tomatoes in puree (or crushed tomatoes in juice, if unavailable). 1 can (14 ounces) vegetable broth. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 pound fresh spinach. 3/4 cup elbow macaroni.
