Started in San Francisco in 2009 as a project to increase diversity in the Ruby community. And it’s been wildly successful! The past six years have seen dozens of local chapters form, thousands of students learn to code, hundreds of volunteers donate their time, and a lot of new developer careers launch! Ruby on Rails workshops for women and their friends. Students, total programming novices, designers, system administrators, developers in other languages are all welcome. We'll have several different classes separated by experience level. We'll teach you everything you need to know to make a site in Ruby on Rails and deploy it at the end of the day.
