babycakes: Don't Go There
http://babycakesblogin.blogspot.com/2009/12/dont-go-there.html
A queer parenting blog. Friday, December 04, 2009. The egg is out the gate. M. won't let me give it a name, but if I were to name it, I would call it Slick. Why? Because it's the phoenix, rising from the ashes of our previous TTC. It's a rebirth. It's the Rebirth of Slick, which is an awesome song from one of my favorite albums ever. I'm very busy Not Going There. It's been pretty funny. M: I've been burping a lot. Me: Don't go there. M: I have really bad heart burn. Me: Don't go there. Me: Don't go there.

A queer parenting blog. Monday, November 09, 2009. Potty Pause and Peer Pressure. Potty learning was going well. Then it wasn't. That was this summer. We were going diaper-free every day and Finn was using the potty and it looked like big boy underwear would soon be the default. Greta: "What is that? Me: "It's a diaper.". Greta: "Why does he wear that? Why doesn't he go to the potty? Me: "You'd have to ask Finn.". Posted by Sacha @ 10:18 AM. At 11/10/2009 11:51 AM. Makenna did the same thing! Omg i hate ...

babycakes: I want a FUN kid
http://babycakesblogin.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-want-fun-kid.html
A queer parenting blog. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I want a FUN kid. I JUST WANT A FUN KID! I wanted that kid who runs around and has a million friends and plays and can go anywhere and just have fun. I didn't get him. Today we decided to try out a local indoor play area at a community center. We walk in and there's a bouncy house. Kids are supposed to love bouncy houses, right? Aren't they the ubiquitous fixture at kids birthday parties, isn't that how people lure you to picnics and other activities?

Well, there was this email about penile implants.or was it the man from Nigeria who had 60 million in a bank in Switzerland and needed my help to get it out? Any other good names out there? A queer parenting blog. Monday, July 25, 2005. Ok, Sacha hasn't yet shared the news that I know you're dying to hear, so I have to jump in here. The NCLEX RN exam on Wednesday was BRUTAL and she wasn't sure exactly how she did afterwards, but.she passed with flying colors and is now a Registered Nurse! Many years of work finally paid off. I'm so proud of her! She'll start her first RN position in mid-August. She's so excited. Posted by M. @ 11:07 AM. Thursday, July 21, 2005. Posted by Sacha @ 9:26 AM.

A queer parenting blog. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Happy New Year's Eve. We're not big NYE types. No drunken parties for these girls. This year NYE is the only holiday I'm not working. And I'm starting a five day stretch off. Why not celebrate? A friend is coming over for dinner. I think he'll hang with us for the evening but I'm not sure. We're going to drink the last of the wine we brought back from Napa. A Hagafen chard. And I'll prob pick up some champagne. Posted by Sacha @ 9:17 AM. Alcoholics are...

babycakes: March 2005
http://babycakesblogin.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
A queer parenting blog. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Our crappy healthcare system. The United States spends more than any other country in the world on healthcare. You'd think for all that money we'd have spectacular health care. I mean amazing, comprehensive, bright and shiny health care. The US is ranked 36 in infant mortality. The Czech Republic has lower rates of infant mortality at #9. Singapore is #1. Here's the entire list. And check out this website. Posted by Sacha @ 5:16 PM. I love Erlend Oye.
