Indeed My Heritage: December 2010
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. FFG - Take Refuge. My amazing friend Lori. Hosts Friday Farm Girls @ Heart every week;. Please click on her button to visit her blog. And to find out how you can participate! My farm girl's heart just aches- along with my back! I confess, when I'm healthy I can sit at the computer for hours, and I'm really good at procrastinating; however, I am essentially a doer. Many of you have been praying for healing for me, and I humbly and gratefully thank you! Let them ever sing for joy;.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me." Psalm 16:6. What an amazing calling the Lord has given me- to pass on a heritage of grace and truth, along with my husband, to Joseph-21, Jacob-19, Danny-17, and Thomas-14. Through stories and photography, my blogs chronicle this calling.

Saturday, August 28, 2010. Weekly Wrap Up with Canadagirl. I'm participating this week! I'm a beginner in the blogging world, but thanks to my blog angel. My blog is really my blog. I know she understands; I hope you do, too! It has been a busy, upside-down week. As I sit here in front of the fan trying to refuse to think about turning the a/c back on, I'll wrap things up. :). Thomas and I have worked together a bit this week, easing into full-time academic work next week. My little guy is already 14...

Indeed My Heritage: February 2010
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 12, 2010. In perusing others' blogs today, I came across this link to Noble Rose Press. They are offering paper doll collections for sale. I know I don't have daughters. I know I'm too old! But, I just had to check it out! Sweet memories returned of my own paper dolls. I distinctly remember cutting them out and carefully folding the tabs on the dresses. Okay, high-tech plastic thingies worked, too! Little girls, play with those dolls- and help take care of mama's babies! Modesty is not o...

Indeed My Heritage: To Sleep, Perchance to Dream
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2011/01/to-sleep-perchance-to-dream.html
Thursday, January 13, 2011. To Sleep, Perchance to Dream. At the end of a busy day, how much do I think about exactly what I'm doing when I prepare for bed, climb under those covers, and rest my head on my pillow? Well, I've been thinking a lot about that lately. :). Sleeping on the floor- messy but helpful. Though I was stiff from the hard surface, my back began to heal, and today I deal with a little soreness and stiffness if I sit (or stand) for any length of time. Sorry if that's an offensive term).

Indeed My Heritage: 2011 Food Storage Challenge with IllinoisLori
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2011/01/2011-food-storage-challenge-with.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. 2011 Food Storage Challenge with IllinoisLori. I'm ready to take a baby step! Um, I do have one of those basements that Lori mentioned, with an area that we affectionately call "The Bomb Shelter"- shelving on which we store garden canned goods, beans, wheat berries, oats, and other dry goods in bulk. We haven't done it for food-preparedness reasons; we have gradually built up our food storage supply simply because there are five men in our home! Back to life,. This is going to be...

Indeed My Heritage: November 2010
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Thanksgiving Pie R Squared. Time to blog again! I was so glad to have taken so many photos on Thanksgiving. :). After the guys woke up from post-meal naptime, the younger guys started tossing out hints. Thomas was the first, because he's 14 and a growing young man, and is almost always hungry, and is always. Up for eating dessert, especially Thanksgiving pie. My kid brother, who got me hooked for good on photography. His camera is better than mine. Back to life,. The meal was ...

Indeed My Heritage: My Week -- What He Deems Best
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2011/01/my-week-what-he-deems-best.html
Saturday, January 8, 2011. My Week - What He Deems Best. This is my time to reflect on the past week, to store up memories in my heart,. And to acknowledge the Lord's ways in my life. The guys have stepped up to help around the home. It's so interesting that without other girls in the home, there really are a LOT of areas that fall to my jurisdiction, and a lot that needs to be delegated when this manager is unable to fulfill her duties. :). Indeed My Heritage: June 2010
http://indeedmyheritage.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. I love little ones. I miss them crawling, toddling, even drooling. I'm a little nostalgic tonight, so I'll just post a few of my favorite little ones. Enjoy! Links to this post. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. On May 19, Danny and I biked to the west end of Boughton Road, maybe four miles from home. I know they say to bike with traffic and walk against, but I would have almost preferred seeing those cars speeding. Me than hearing the engine as they swerve around me from. This is my favo...
