Real Food Recap | It's No Small Thing
https://itsnosmallthing.wordpress.com/2012/04/23/real-food-recap
It's No Small Thing. Asymp; 5 Comments. Well, we successfully completed week one…sort of. I do our grocery shopping on Mondays, so after the big Monday shop, we set about eating our two fruits and/or veggies. As I said before, our dinner just about always includes two veggies, so that was no trouble. It was breakfast and lunch that was a bit difficult. This week, we are focused on Real Beverages. But I think we exercise moderation pretty well in this area. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Could you use ...

Part of being a parent is rolling with the punches, so consider an unexpected pregnancy the universe's way of helping you to learn to do that. Heather Wittenberg. Bellina and Charlotte were nine months old. I had just finished nursing them, as they had really protested the continued nursing from about 8-9 months and so we had decided to be finished.and so I was free from nursing bras and schedules. Really what I mean to say is.I was happy! And you know what else I was? OH IT CAN HAPPEN! I was able to mak...

Real Food: Week 2 | It's No Small Thing
https://itsnosmallthing.wordpress.com/2012/05/04/real-food-week-2
It's No Small Thing. Real Food: Week 2. Asymp; 3 Comments. Last week was our “Beverage Challenge” and I’m proud to say that we successfully completed the challenge without any cheating. I made the switch from doctoring my coffee with processed, flavored dairy free creamer to using milk and maple syrup and started drinking my tea with honey. We both stuck to water, milk, tea, and coffee for the whole seven days. This week is the Meat Challenge. And the Whole Food Challenge. The week after next. Fill in yo...

It's No Small Thing. Asymp; 7 Comments. I love my baby. But sometimes, there is a hope, a whisper, a desperate longing…just to be a normal person again. You know, the kind of person who decides she wants to go somewhere…and then goes…without a diaper bag, or a stroller, or a car seat or even a thought about nap time, or even worse, bedtime. The kind of person who can leave home with reckless abandon, even if it’s after 6pm. Asymp; 2 Comments. Rusty and Lily hung out on our new porch swing while I whipped...

Our shopping options increased exponentially, and then things got messy. Do you see my dilemma? Grocery shopping has become a logistical nightmare! Is it possible to be health AND budget conscious? It's No Small Thing. Asymp; 3 Comments. It’s hard to know where to begin when you’ve taken a five month hiatus from your blog. Many times, I’ve written posts in my head, but for whatever reason, I haven’t taken the time to type them. I’m especially sad that I neglected posting on Lily’s first birthday. In her book. A lovely woman at our old church gave me a book entitled. Mom’s One Line a Day. We played on the porch, and you walked, as you often do, with your water bottle hanging out of your mouth. Y...
